Salary: Adjunct salaries are dependent upon the number of credit hours. This is a non-benefited, MCCC position.

Starting Date: Fall 2022 semester

Qualified candidates should submit a CV/resume, graduate transcripts (unofficial) and a cover letter addressing how your experience meets the qualifications of the position. Please also include your teaching availability for Fall 2022

• A Master's degree in field or a significant related field with graduate level credit in subject area is required.  
• Recent work experience related to the course content required.
• Teaching experience in higher education and/or at the community college level is strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of environmental law/policy is strongly preferred 
• A commitment to and experience working with a diverse student body is required; knowledge of local students' needs is recommended.
• Familiarity and commitment to critical theoretical frameworks in teaching (e.g., Environmental Justice, Environmental Racism, Gender and Women's studies) is strongly preferred.
• Successful experience interacting with culturally diverse populations
• Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or a National background check as a condition of employment.
