The Board of Directors of South Texas Electric Cooperative, Inc. (STEC) invites qualified persons to apply for the position of General Manager. The current General Manager is retiring at the end of 2022. The Board has engaged Holmes Executive Search LLC to facilitate the search process.  STEC is a financially sound, cutting-edge, electric generation and transmission cooperative owned by its nine Member Systems that supply electric service to over 290,000 consumers in 47 counties throughout South Texas. Each member cooperative is represented on the STEC Board of Directors. STEC owns or purchases generation from a diverse fuel mix of natural gas, lignite, wind, hydroelectric, and solar.
