The Hydroelectric Power Plant Mechanic is a journey level classification with responsibility for operations and maintenance of power plants, pumping plants, and water storage and conveyance systems. This classification is distinguished from the Hydroelectric Power Plant Supervisor in that the Hydroelectric Power Plant Supervisor is responsible for the overall operations and maintenance of plant equipment and for the supervision of a crew of operations and maintenance personnel.
