SMUD’s Hydroelectric Power Generation team is seeking a knowledgeable Associate Mechanical Engineer with power generation or industrial experience to support mechanical maintenance and design changes to its hydroelectric facilities in the Crystal Basin area of the Eldorado National Forest.  The Associate Mechanical Engineer will have the opportunity to lead both maintenance and capital projects within SMUD’s hydroelectric system of 18 dams, 9 hydroelectric powerhouses and interconnecting penstocks, tunnels and support structures.  This position reports to a satellite office near Pollock Pines, CA (Fresh Pond) and will give the successful candidate the opportunity to work in both the field and the office.     This postin
